What did y'all think of The Grand Tour? I loved it but I was really drunk The M2 review was a very pleasant surprise but I wish they would have done a different comparison though just cause they tested all those cars during their final season at that other network Anyways all in all I give it

I was very very happy with it. It was everything I needed it to be, I was laughing the whole time. I too (interestingly enough) was having so much fun that I over indulged on gin.
I thought it was great. Don't really care for the washed up nascar driver, but the rest is good. It's nice that they don't bleep out all the bad words.
i can see a change in the way the script is written, ep 2 had a lot of fluff and very little car stuff.... that being said it is a different show, I am just glad the 3 are back , and I am excited to see what is in store.
I wasn't a fan of episode 2, but the 3rd episode was great. More classic TG seemed to be the theme. Hammond acting like a child to irritate May is priceless. More genuine moments it seemed.

...but still no boobies

I think that's because Amazon producers told them they couldn't call the news the "news" and no celebrity interview due threat of lawsuit from the BBC Or so I read in an interview on the 'internet" so I think they're just trying to be smartasses.

That is correct - by now they should just stop doing it and find another way to troll the BBC. "We could have this guest but..."
Season 2 started last Friday - pretty good show. Led off with Richard's accident. They now look to have a permanent home, new track, The American is gone (thankfully), and they stopped killing off guests. Richard in an interview recently said they understood not everything worked in season 1 so they made changes... Now also streamed in 4K as well.
Second season is done and was better in general from the first season. Don't love the new tame racing driver - ya can't replace the Stig it seems. The last episode of season 2 is VERY much classic old show and very funny.
Second season was better, but honestly I enjoyed season two of TGUK more than GT. I think we've built up the expectation so much for GT and the features are just repeats of seasons past. The segment that killed the show for me was the "we didn't script this next segment" and James made a fire truck, and Jeremy and Richard just did their own thing. The way they scripted the non-script segment made me turn it off. TGUK is great with LeBlanc and Harris and I'm looking forward to that more than GT.

Top Gear UK has absolutely finally figured it out again....Joey from friends continues to impress, Harris is probably my favorite journalist of all time and he was a little too hyped up the first go around but he's settled in and the two of them with Rory in the mix where necessary has been great. They put Sabine back behind the wheel for driving segments and got her out of regular speaking segments which was absolutely the right move. It's all come together quite nicely now.

Agreed. I really enjoyed this season. They've developed a pretty good chemistry, especially Matt and Harris. That ball tap in the last episode almost had me in tears. That's a sign of a true friendship right there.
