Default Used anti-freeze disposal in Ohio

Had it in a gallon jug and it look like a car (not mine) was pulled to far forward and punctured it. I need to get the remainder out of the garage. jug is now in a bucket to catch any more that leaks. I can't seem to find good into on what to do in Ohio for proper disposal.

Tire dis counters should take all used car fluids. I took brake, coolant, oil and tranny fluid to them this spring. No questions asked. I was in the same boat as you. I had 6 gallons of fluid from previous years.

Call your county EPA office. That's what I did when the local parts stores wouldn't take my coolant. Surprisingly, the Cuyahoga county office told me to dump it down the drain in my utility sink as i was informed their "system" could handle it.

I did ask a local shop about this and they said the state has no official rules on disposal and they put it down the drain as well.

Agreed, just make sure it's a sewage treatment system drain (sink, toilet, etc.) Not a storm drain and not into your own septic system.
