Default Dropped my 435xi (3 Series Coupe for you stubborn old balls)

This past weekend I had the chance to install my H&R Sport Springs on my 2015 F32... I love the drop and wish I had done it sooner. The road's imperfections are a bit more noticeable, which balanced out the loss of feedback due to the electronically assisted steering.

Anyway, I love the way it rides and looks now!

Well-done, just the right amount of drop.

It is at the shop right now getting the alignment. I waited about a hundred miles or so to help the springs settle a bit.

Look crispy, I think it's perfect. Was this a sport pack to begin with?

It had the M-Sport package but since it is an x-Drive it didn't have the M-Sport suspension.

ahhhhhh got it. The drop is pretty big, I know on my chassis from a sport package to H&R sports you only get like a half inch or so.

Looks great. Dropping my XI was definitely one of the best things I did. Really improves the ride and looks a lot on an XI. Not sure what BMW is smoking with its XI suspensions.

Their idea behind the xdrive package is to have more ground clearance, that's why all their xi's and xdrives sit ~17mm (maybe) higher than their 2wd brethren. They figure if you need awd that you'll also need the extra height. I read this is a product manual I found awhile ago for the xi AWD system.

Well there is a difference between raising a car up versus being designed with more ground clearance. Look at Audi, their quattro's have far less wheel gap than an XI BMW while maintaining decent ground clearance and ride like a normal car. BMW needs to change their XI setups in my opinion because it rides and looks like ass. Just seems like a completely inferior/last minute design "oh lets raise up the XI's" and throw some eBay quality lift kit on it.

Edit: Maybe the xDrive coupes or even just M Sport cars with xDrive shouldn't be skyjacked so high. This isn't an x3 so we don't need the SUV ride height lol.

Maybe they could make a new '436i x-ish-drive Gran Lowered 2 door sedan' that could exemplify this feature.

This. for $80,000. Because we all know BMW loves adding new variants to the lines and charging insane prices for it.

Car looks really good. Not too low at all. Kind of reminiscent of the ZHP concept they just showed off.
