Kind of bummed we didn't get a group picture like we had planned, but it was getting late in the day and I think everyone was ready to head home. Here's what I got from my phone.

Thanks for arranging guys, was very enjoyable drive (I need to practice more so passengers don't get sick). Let's keep doing these every so often!

I've spent some time looking at a map, and honestly have no idea what route we took. I would really like to retrace the drive in a more leisurely fashion sometime this fall with my wife riding shotgun. I'm betting it would be a beautiful drive with the leaves changing colors. Can anyone help me map out the route? I was in the silver E46 bringing up the rear of the group that started out in Cinci. Thanks for any help guys!

I actually saved this because I liked the route a lot. The last leg might have been my favorite with that little death valley straight and hilly portion.

Guys that route is nice. Thanks Marcumac for posting the map. Yesterday I tried to follow the route with my wife to view fall foliage. Somehow we ended up in Ripley before Aberdeen. Trusting Google maps on the phone we ended up on some small "lane" going back to Ripley. It was a bit scary as you could really get in trouble on that lane quickly. The road was not wide enough to pass another vehicle without going off the edge. It was also very curvy and had a lot of quick elevational changes that if driving too fast you could bottom out. Other than that it was a fantastic route. Would be good for a "Fall Foliage" drive.

A fall drive would be fun before the weather goes downhill.

My wife and I are headed out to begin retracing this route in just a few minutes. Camera in hand! I think we'll go old school with a paper fold out map. She will be playing the navigator and co-pilot roles. The weather is perfect for a nice drive today.

What a nice drive. No traffic, no construction, just driving. Beautiful weather too. We ate lunch at the Longhorns in Hillsboro then set out on 73. Didn't drive all that fast today, but did have some real fun on several of the winding road pieces. Only made my wife squeal a couple times. Lol. Man I love my E46. Did the entire route then took 52 from Ripley up to Nine Mile Rd to connect to 275. Nine Mile Rd is pretty fun too. My car handled so much better today than when I went with the group. I bought some 17X8 rims with nice tires from a Ohio Bimmers forum member. Much better handling than the factory 17X7's running cheap tires.

That's great to hear. I really do like that route and I'd love to hit it again sometime. That stretch that runs downhill through the forest was my favorite.
