Ohhh. Then get a manual one!!!! I'm sure you'll catch on real quickly on how to shift manually; it took me about three days of driving my old ranger before I could do it correctly haha.

You're not going to hurt anything at all.

As much as I would fancy an e46 m3, I think it would be a bit too costly for me. However, I am definitely falling in love with the face-lifted e46 coupe

I had an E34 M5 when I was in Germany, and that car was really something special. It was an excellent A-B daily driver when you wanted it to be, but at the slightest movement of your right foot, it changed into a completely different animal. My friends and I used to take it to the Nurburgring for open weekends, and it was almost scary what that 4 doored monster could do. It was pretty reliable for me too, so I can definitely recommend an E34 M5.

However, if it was my money, I'd go with the previous suggestions of a nice E36 M3 and put some money into ensuring the reliability, and then maybe a nice exhaust to improve your daily driving experience.

A little more than $0.02, maybe more like a nickel....

e34 M5 vs ZHP.... that's a tough call. M5 has a higher maintenance cost, but then you have an M5. ZHP is newer and looks sharp, but it's smaller.

I may be biased since having an e34 M5 in Germany / Nurburgring was my idea of heaven, and I've never driven a ZHP, but I gotta go with the M5 on that one. You can do just about anything in the M5, where as the ZHP you're more limited when you consider the size of the car. But to each his own....

I miss living in Germany, good old Amburg.

I'm strangely attracted to this 01 e39 touring, $13K but with 120K on the clock.

And this 97 e36 M3, $15K, 74K miles, too bad its from Enthusiast; I've heard mixed things about them. Price seems a bit high, but I haven't shopped for an e36 M3. I know I can find cheaper with similar mileage.

Post any links of anything worth buying, I'm not limiting myself to just Bimmers

But why do we bother doing anything that's pointless. What would Leonardo Da Vinci have done if a management consultant forced him to run a P&L on the Mona Lisa? He'd stab the son of a bitch in the eye with a charcoal pencil. Then he'd go invent the helicopter.

HOLY CRAP THAT'S AMAZING. E34 M5 FTW. My favorite exterior styling of any Bimmer ever made. You need to go buy that just so I can take pictures of it this summer.
