Nope. I hear it's a good track, but I'm keeping closer. Putnam is also that weekend.

First school, right?

Let's hear about it! Any off track experiences? What are the next plans for the car?

With the heat down there, you will be well prepared for the August school here.

The car looks black in the picture.

Lets see... Well no off track experiences but I did have a situation where I boiled the brake fluid... I was coming down into 10A damn near at the end of my last session... 10 is a chicane and just off the longest straight.. Coming down at about 130mph, I was running the car the fastest I had all weekend and using the brakes really hard... I cam into 10 trying to get her slowed way down, and in the middle of my braking I felt the brakes fade and then fade severely... Scared me in a huge way... Missed the apex by about 10 ft but turned in anyway because I didn't want to hit the sandpit.. By doing this I began to slide sideways and thankfully just scrubbed off the speed.. My instructor looked at me and said "what happened?". I let him know I lost my brakes and he said pit immediately... Right away he knew what happened and we cooled them and went back up with me being alittle easier on the brakes.. All in all my instructor already asked that I be bumped up.. He was impressed by the improvement, the way I listened, the way I applied changes, and they way I took care of the brake issue... So movin on up

So with that experience.. No Hawk HPS ads.. Im going to go straight for HT-10s... Also not for the next session but maybe next year, cooling ducts... And after the sliding in the seat, Im looking at some seats right now actually, belts, and a 4 pt... The car is plenty fast, just need some better security so I can feel the car rather than hold on for dear life.. oh and the fact that I couldn't fit in the car with my helmet on.. I had my head in the sunroof area for an extra 3/4 inch...

Yeah the pic is deceiving... When I get home (Im in Japan right now), the CD of pix should be in the mail (professional shots)... I will definitely pots them.

Great job! Good choice on the changes to make! It will make a big difference.

The E36 M3 is an excellent track car. This is my instructors car from the Memorial Day school. She was great.

Enjoy the trip!
